Pretty fun song, nice to hear this side of their sound again.

 

Fucking love it. I’ll take their pop punk side over any current/newer pop punk bands.

 

Finally got to hear the whole thing. God this song is great. Might even dig it a tint bit more than the new blink songs (and i love those). I am such a sucker for the “woahs.” I hope we get album info soon too!

Put Landmines on driving to work this morning, and played it fucking loud. Had a weird goosebumps moment where I realised I was hearing this sounding Sum 41 in 2023.

Song rips. So glad they're hopefully going out on a high and awesome note.

Pretty sure it’s just the single is dropping with no album news. At least it was just the single on New Zealand iTunes this Morning. Pretty sure this isn’t coming out until next year some time

It's a small request, but I hope the album cover doesn't look like a crappy tattoo like the last two albums

 

I think "Chuck" is the only album cover I like, they're not known for having great ones haha

 

SBM wasn't awful if not for the font used.

 

Hah, no wonder this was chosen as the lead single with the meta lyrics in the opening verse.

Fun song, wish the chorus was a bit "bigger" but it's great to hear them doing this sort of music again.

 

I like this more than anything I've heard from Sum in a looong time haha, song is great

 

I think after they break up, these guys will be back in a few years with hopefully Steve on drums again.

Any reason why? I remember him leaving very abruptly.

 

Just that he seems happy where he is in his "normal life" as an estate agent.

I don't think it was ever revealed why he left the band, but it was during the peak of Deryck's unhealthy partying lifestyle and that possibly had something to do with it.

There's rumours that he had a falling out with Deryck around that time, but nothing concrete.

 

This was fun. Really looking forward to this album.
