Saw them last night in Seoul. I'm not the biggest fan, but it's rare for larger rock bands to come to South Korea so I went anyway. They put on a very entertaining show and the band was quite tight. There's a WHOLE lot of pitch correction going on with Deryck's voice, but it was still highly enjoyable.
I think it's great in how catchy and repayable it is. Reminds me of the AKNF era for that reason. Perfect length too.
Landmines is easily my favorite of the three, one of his best choruses in years (and their choruses have been my biggert criticisms of the last two records). Rise Up has grown on me a ton but I'm not getting the love for Waiting on a Twist of Fate, it's got fun verses and riffs but the chorus just has that generic feeling I didn't like about OID and 13V.
Crazy that this felt so far away for so long, and suddenly we're only two weeks away. Think we're getting another track before release?
