Baby You Don't Want To Now and Time For You To Go. The two that sound like Greenday songs (nothing wrong with that) but don't match the style of the rest of the album. I like those songs enough, but breaks the flow for sure. I've never been upset they are on the album though because its a long album and nothing was cut in favor for those, just added to the album. If any other song had been cut, then we'd have a problem
Yeah, for once the label was right about those two songs. They don't fit at all and while I wouldn't say it "brought down" the record- it definitely made it a little less cohesive.
Those two songs he felt he had to put on absolutely destroy the flow. Those are skips every single time for me.
Yeah other than those two songs I actually love SBM and would put it either second or third in their discography
I still love the first few albums the most, but I also love SBM.... And 13, I really just move them all except Underclass
Underclass Hero is either my second or third favorite by them My Sum 41 opinion is very unpopular though, I had AKNF last until 13 Voices came out
I've always been surprised by the love Underclsss Hero gets on here. After Chuck I always thought it was a huge regression when it came out.
Same. It's probably my least favorite (agree with James that it was a regression) but on my Sum mixes, I do always include Count Your Blessings, Walking Disaster and With Me.
I really like a couple songs but so much of it feels like a poor man's Green Day to me. Title track wants to be American Idiot so bad. I can enjoy it sometimes but yeah after Chuck, big regression.
Got a random itch to listen to SBM (really, just the title track and Holy Image Of Lies through Happiness Machine). Forgot how much I loved those songs. Also, Underclass Hero is such a fun summer album, so many great memories tied to that record.
Screaming Bloody Murder is criminally underrated, if you ask me. Obviously the record runs a little too long and there are a few tracks that could have been cut- but overall it’s a great record in their discography in my opinion.
It's been a long time since I've listened to SBM, but I remember it as a really good album. I don't get why it seems to get hated on sometimes.
see, i don't mind that one. i know it's kind of the token ballad on the album, but it's worth a listen.
