Marketing is all about selling a movie, not what it actually is. The posters could be completely tonally different from what the movie ends up being. The super colorful aesthetic recently feels like a direct response to Snyder's mute, colorless palate of MoS and BvS, so it's as much a push away from that as it is an indication of the film.
Looks like they're going for the Hot Topic crowd in the marketing/soundtrack Still think it looks great though
as if the used condoms wasn't fucked up enough Jared sent Viola Davis a box of bullets, he's disgusting
She "simply had to accept the craziness?" Most of the things he supposedly did are crimes. Either it's being greatly exaggerated or it's all a made up publicity stunt. I mean, I can't say that with certainty but that's where I'm leaning.
Obviously this doesn't speak to the quality movie but I don't know that movies with licensed music videos have a great track record of being all that great
I saw a Harley figure with a pretty spoilery outfit on from the film. Assuming it's even in the film.
I'm excited for this completely in spite of the Joker, lol. I'm most interested in Deadshot, Katana, and maybe Enchantress. I keep going back and forth on Harley.
I have so much Harley merch at home. Only the classic motif. Not a fan of the Arkham or SS versions. That could change with this, I guess.
It feels like the marketing campaign for this has been going on forever and there's still over a month to go.
Most of the marketing has been pretty good, aside from all the BTS Leto stuff. Excited to finally see this when it comes out. Feels like we've been waiting forever. The downside to them having to release the first teaser so early.
I know. More than a whole year younger than I am. And to think that she was only 22 when The Wolf of Wall Street was released. Probably 21 when filmed ha.
