Looks like we're getting an extended cut.

 

Ugh. Stop it, DC/WB.

 

I think Wonder Woman: Extended Cut is my new most anticipated DC film.

 

We'll see if this becomes the trend with the DC/WB movies.

 

But I want to see all the extended Joker stuff!

I think it will be. I've heard the joke before that the DCEU stands for Director Cut Edition Universe lol. As a fan of these films, it's always nice to see more but I can't help to think that since the extended cut of BvS actually made the movie better instead of just adding a little bit more fun here or there, they should just let the directors version of the movie get released instead.

 

If BvS (only seen the Ultimate Edition) bored me to tears, will I most likely not enjoy this film?

 

This one has more fun and personality. If you are interested in DC stuff, it's worth seeing.

 

It's both better and worse in different ways. But if your biggest complaint for BvS was "boring," that's certainly not the case here.

I mean, I'd love to see the Extended Cut the first time I saw the movie but to be honest I don't know if I could wait. I love these superhero movies. I admit I'm part of the problem

 

There's nothing like seeing something on the big screen at a cinema.

 

I still haven't gotten around to watching the extended of BvS. I think with SS it's supposed to add 13 more minutes. For only that amount of time, not sure why they wouldn't have included it, other than using it as a money grab later on.

 

I had heard that a lot of the Joker stuff was too dark and was cut so the movie fit the lighter, more fun tone it was aiming for. Plus, shorter runtime means more showings means more $$$.

 

Thought I read something about a lot of his stuff getting cut. All I can say is that I hope it does his character more justice than the original version.

 

I'm really stoked for the extended cut. Liked the theatrical version but there seems to be sooooo much cut footage from this one that I'm really curious to see what the longer version looks like, pacing and story wise.

 

will the extended cut just have additional footage? feel like they need to just do completely new cut lol

Excited to see the Joker scenes! Anyone know what the time difference is between the two?

 

The article I linked says there's 13min of extra footage. There will also be a gag reel and featurettes, one of which will explore the nature of Harley and Joker's relationship.

 

That was not very good. Seems like something that should have been left on the cutting room floor.

This whole grumbling grunting thing that Leto does is incredible annoying...

I wonder if these scenes will be mixed in the movie like the BvS and Days of Future Past cuts, or like Star Wars where they are part of Bonus features
