Good lord....really? Wasn't Sabotage and Fury pretty big studio films with a lot of effects? Remember when a ton of the BvS rumors weren't real? I can't believe people eat this stuff up. It's so hard these days to get real movie news instead of click bait headlines
Well, in fairness, I am picking up work. I'll give it a shot down the road, but no way will I be paying for it.
lol at people mad at @Henry for getting a refund. Who cares if the critical response was the last straw in him not spending $15 to see it right away?
While there's a point, if you purchased the ticket to see it opening weekend it does seem strange for some negative reviews to be "the last straw". Makes it seem like even though you went out of your way to make sure you saw it asap, you weren't even looking forward to it enough for there to even be a "last straw".
Maybe he was cautiously optimistic, and then specific comments by people who have seen the film confirmed his fears? Maybe this is a crazy thing for people to care about? lol.
I'm just saying I was already hesitant on seeing it theaters, now I really won't. It's hard for me to go dish out money and time to go see a movie that has mostly bad reviews and that I'm iffy on anyway. That was my point.
The hope is that things like this, Batman 18, and Fantastic Four would collapse this superhero craze, but instead people are giving others a hard time for deciding not to see the movie based on awful reviews. Even if you love these types of movie it is important to recognize the need to channel your money towards the better ones so the incentive is there.
