Have there been movies with late embargo dates that were highly reviewed? I can't think of any.

I posted my video review, which is fairly negative and it's already got nothing but thumbs down. The DC fanboys are in full effect!

I'm not sure if that Twitter user understands that the reddit post is actually done by a troll. The whole chicken nuggets / meltdown thing I think actually started at The Donald as a way to make fun of Bernie supporters as they were freaking out during the primaries

Yeah but it is basically spot on. That's the point. Look at some of us here. I almost want to ask for a refund based on the reviews so far. I don't know how many hopes and dreams I can have crushed by DC. lol

Well yeah that subreddit is satire

  13. Still excited to see it but actually kind of surprised at the negative reaction. Thought this one looked a lot better than BvS.

It's better than "BvS" but it's still a big mess. Harley's character being nothing but a joke machine and eye candy really misses the mark at such an interesting character.

Guys, you don't understand, there is a 6 and a half our directors cut of this movie that makes it so much better. /s

Seriously though, that blows, I was looking forward to this one. Hopefully I will still enjoy it.

  17. Seeing this Friday night, not necessarily because I want to but because I friend who is leaving for school wants to make a night of it. Can't say I'm not curious about Leto's Joker.

"With Jared Leto playing Joker, the promise was of a return to the kind of storytelling found in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight. Sadly, that doesn't prove to be the case at all." - via RT review

Such a good trailer. Maybe we can watch it on repeat for an hour and a half and not see the film.

I think i'll still like this a lot. I don't feel that the trailer portrayed this to be anything more than what it is, and DC just hasn't had the backbone Marvel has had to really feel out their stories and flesh out the characters the way they could. I've read that many scenes that were shown of the joker in trailers don't exist at all in the movie which is very disheartening. Most specifically, the scene of him in his classic tux and burned face looked to be part of a major climax, though it seems that scene does not exist at all.
