I'm not surprised at all honestly, it's been significantly hyped.
Why so surprised?

 

Nope, I'm here local! Got a 6:20 PM showing for Thursday 8/4. Can't wait.

 

It's through Cinemark.

 

Huh. It appears that you can buy tickets now through Cinemark's website, but not through Fandango yet, which I usually use by default.

 

Yep our local theater got absorbed into Cinemark, so they're usually my go-to now.

 

They should be available through Famdango tomorrow. I don't know if that means they'll be up at midnight or what though.

 

Got mine for Thursday, August 4th @ 6pm!

Tickets are only available through AMC right? Tennessee isn't on there.

 

Got mine on Fandango for a Regal theater.

 

Man, tickets have gotten so damn expensive.

 

It's awful. Plus now you can't buy a coke or bag of popcorn without spending $20. Yuck.

 

I'm sure theres a theater around you that has cheap movie or popcorn nights. Local theater on Tuesdays does $6 tickets and $1 popcorn. Also I would recommend signing up for whatever rewards program to get free tickets and free popcorn/sodas.

 

There might be. I really only have time to go on the weekends, so I'm kind of screwed from the start. I usually try to catch a matinee whenever possible.

 

Luckily I have no life and can go to the movies whenever.
