I was a young lad in 2005 and not into most of the music I am into now so...debatable on whether I wish it was 2005.

I was old enough to like good music thankfully! 2005 was prettttty lit. This was my best of list that year and I still love like, all of it (though I would re-order these days and add a few different ones)

Frances the Mute was probably my favorite of 2005. I’d have to see a huge list of what came out that year, but I’m pretty sure that’s it.

 

I didn't get into him until after that album, but that's something that would be moved in if I were to re-do the list in current day

 

the fuck was wrong with me, that easily should be on the list. Ugh now I want to go back and go through 2005 albums and re-make a new list.

 

We should do a thing on Chorus where everyone reranks their favorite albums from whenever they started making lists.

Ok look I’m not saying I made this happen but I did listen to Illinois/Sufjan for the first time in a while today and think to myself that we really had to be getting a new album this year so actually I am saying I made this happen

 

I wasn’t into music enough to make lists until like 2013
