Album art is very similar to All Delighted People

 

In addition to the art, this song actually reminds me of the folkier side of All Delighted People. Which I love. Incredible track.

I don't think I've ever listened to All Delighted People but I just listened now and I loved it.

 

I dunno if you only listened to the song, but the whole EP (album, basically) is awesome

 

Yes I listened to it all! I didn’t really realize it was basically a fully realized album. Thought it was just like some outtakes or something

I always thought the same - the only reason I realised it wasn't was because he plays Heirloom a lot live. Which is such a perfect little Sufjan song.

I don't really like the Javelin artwork for that reason. It looks like the All Delighted People artwork, and the artwork of that always gave me the impression it was random b-sides and other cuts. But that is such a minor complaint haha. Classic singer-songwriter Sufjan albums are an absolute treat. So glad we're getting another.
