This couldn’t be coming out at a better time IMO

 

Mostly through this, and it’s nice but not really for me. Made me want to listen to The Ascension though. This one definitely feels like it’ll appeal to the C&L heads.

 

Just downloaded this, about to dig in

 

Quite nice album, very Carrie and Lowell, definitely will take a while to dig into more but it's a really nice first listen.

 

Cannot wait to listen to this in a few hours. Absolutely loved all the singles released so far.

On Lady Macbeth all I hear is poppy Elliot Smith & I love it.

 

Well gosh, this is just pleasant. "This is The Thing" is probably my favorite track on here.

Saving my first listen for tomorrow as a little birthday present to myself :)

 

This makes up for a lot of my unfulfilled expectations from The Ascension.

to be clear, that is an issue with myself & not Suf

 

I wasn’t too into The Ascension either honestly. Haven’t returned to it a ton but this is definitely my speed.

 

that said, the flourishes we get here that are Ascension-esque are fantastic. the end of Lady MacBeth being a good example.

 

This is incredible.

 

Did different variants get different designs on the slip cover? I’m liking the one on mine.
