My wife and I have had an ongoing joke that they're gonna end this show with a full Marie Antoinette situation with the working class revolting and executing every main character. I don't think that will actually happen, but there were definitely a few moments last night where we were looking at each other like this.

 

I don't think anything as sensationalist like that will happen, but they need to bring on the consequences in this last episode. Something big. I appreciate a good slow burn but there's a lot that happened in previous seasons that seem yet to be addressed.

 

Why keep Colin around if he's not going to snitch on Kendall?

I dunno they have been focusing on Greg's relationship to Mattson and his conflict with Shiv about him cozying up to Mattson quite a bit in the last few episodes.

Also in the finale promo there is a snippit where it almost looks like Greg got the news of his life and is preparing for something huge, with Tom next to him looking like a proud father

 

idk i feel like the finale might be a big tom episode since he was featured so little in last nights episode.

but nobody knows shit and we're all probably wrong so fuck it.

there’s a shot of matsson screaming like skarsgaard thought he was back in the northman in the scenes for next week, i think there’s a pretty good chance he’s the one that gets fucked over lol

maybe mencken pulls some shit and ATN just gets fucked overall

I have seen people on site treat speculation like spoilers plenty of times. People are weird about that stuff. Trying not to step on toes.

Getting called out for spoiler tagging something is so much more annoying than getting called out for not spoiler tagging something.

It's like sorry for trying to be careful not to upset anyone.

 

I bet Mencken ends up being relatively inconsequential (especially if we keep the theme of 1 day/episode) because in the current timeline neither him nor Jimenez have the power to do anything. Even if he publicly takes a stance on the merger that's kinda meaningless
