Also loved that despite how heavy everything is the show still found rooms for some laughs. Karl saying Logan was gonna be “heavily fucking delayed” got a big laugh out of me.

This is a top 5 episode of tv I’ve ever seen, i think. Just mailed everything about this episode. The feeling on the scenes taking place in the yacht were so claustrophobic. Direction, acting, writing. Just completely connected in this episode.

So many different directions it could go after this.

 

GodDAMN what an episode. Did not expect that and I definitely didn’t think it was real until the very end when they take his body off the plane.

 

Yeah I did not enjoy this episode for how much I thought I was there in that nightmare boat ride with them. Devastating.

all other tv shows (and their cast and crew) don't even waste your time submitting shit for emmys

 

Wow. Incredible stuff. The quiet devastation of Rome opening up to Gerri about how sad he is and her politely walking away. Ep was full of little moments that felt heavy.

 

Damn the preview for the rest of the season looks insane

 

haven't watched the new ep yet cause I'm a cheapass who wants to wait to binge it all in one month but seeing "Ozymandias" trending on twitter simply from people making comparisons to the best episodes of any tv series... I'm excited.

We all thought Logan would win and live forever despite the title of the show being what it is

 

The show is called succession and yet it was still a huge shock we are getting a succession. 10/10

the way they write Kendall to be clearly the adult in the room 75% of the time and then fill the other 25% with this stuff is masterful

 

that was so fkin cold blooded on her part lol

yeah I'm the only one in the house who watches it, and my wife, sister, and brother-in-law were like how was it? And I couldn't even begin to explain because they won't get it so I just said I cried for like 15 minutes and that it was good lol

 

Thankfully the main characters are all distinct enough for her to kind of remember them; Old Guy, Sad Guy, Ugly Guy, The One Woman, Mr. Darcy, and That Tall Boy.

 

All the non-kid Logan hangers-on looking absolutely lost, made me think of what those feeding fish do after their host great white dies.

 

What other show could make you feel sad about someone like Logan Roy dying? Just incredible character development and writing.
