ah, makes sense then why I’ve never heard of it lol. I assumed it was something that applied only to the ultra rich so that would make sense.
I honestly thought that guy that Gerri was with was Frank when he first got out of the car and offered Gerri his arm. And I guess I don’t get why Gerri and everyone would be at Logan’s ex-wife’s wedding? Kind of like I don’t get why Stewey was at Shiv’s. Must be a rich person thing to just invite everyone even somewhat connected to you but then Naomi wasn’t there with Kendall? But Comfry is?
Something I just read elsewhere: Kendall was maybe seeing how long it takes to pass out in water, like the waiter
the next week on didn’t have any kenny and had a shot of logan hugging iverson so even if he didn’t fatally drown, he definitely gets fucked up from it
i never trust those things. Show runners know people are gonna eagle eye the shit out of those. For all we know, he hugs Iverson because it’s his birthday or he apologizes for hitting him way back in season 1. Maybe is tied to how this episode ended but I think it’s a red herring. somewhat along those lines, there was a preview or something before season 3 started that announced Skarsgaard and the “scene” they showed was him in like a white polo and sunglasses leaning forwarded like laughing or something (reminded me of Leo’s forced fake laugh in Wolf of Wall Street) and while maybe that happens in the finale, it hasn’t happened yet so maybe it was a deleted scene clip they showed. either way, I’m not gonna connect anything to the “results” of Kendal because I feel like that would be too obvious and the show doesn’t seem like it would go that route. Could be wrong though!
In the last episode Rava said that Logan was having the kids followed as she noticed people watching / following them in the park and other places, right? my assumption then is that he has people watching Kendal too then (why he has people watching middle school kids who the fuck knows) and that maybe someone pulls Kendal from the pool before “it” actually happens? Or maybe they call Logan and he doesn’t say anything and let’s it happen? (Thinking this based on what he said at their not-dinner conversation about him always having to clean up Kendal’s fuck ups)
"I'm not used to communicating in eggplant" lmao I hope Gerri and Greg are sitting on the Iron Throne when the smoke clears
there have been plenty of scenes in trailers for this show where they show it and the scene we see in the actual episode of the exact line reading is a completely different camera angle. if you watch the first trailer for this season, there are multiple instances of that. there is also a shot of kendall with his hair full with his kids, which clearly ended up being a deleted scene. the shot of skarsgard doing the boohoo hand gesture to roman from the trailer happened this episode when he was like “oh you’re not allowed to doooo that,” we just saw it from behind him focusing on roman instead of in front like the trailer. he's standing in front of the pool we see this episode in that trailer. it’s bc they have multiple cameras for every scene and find it in the edit. armstrong has said as much multiple times, j smith cameron too all that to say - yeah, the editing of the scenes from next week is definitely carefully selected to build suspense for ken and not clearly say if he’s alive or dead. that doesn’t definitively mean he’s alive and it’s a fake out.
Alan Ruck actually did injure his shoulder. It sounds like it happened mid-production and they worked Connor breaking his arm into the script. This episode was all on location in Italy so they either filmed it before the injury or way after. https://etcanada.com/news/842651/al...ession-character-connor-had-a-broken-arm/amp/
i’m guessing after. a lot of this season felt like “shot during height of covid” stuff. this is the first one that has felt like it was shot this year
