Rewatching last week’s episode left me with a creeping dread that we’re only gonna have Kendall Roy around for two more weeks

hope I’m wrong but yeah that feels like the turning point they’ve been laying the groundwork for.

^I don’t think so either, but the actress who plays Gerri was on a talk show this week and said the finale is going to be “shocking and upsetting” to a lot of people.

It would definitely be shocking for them to do so -- that's why I never even really considered it -- but it just seems like he's approaching yet another rock bottom and I don't know how many "Kendall is destroyed and then reborn in the fight against Dad" storylines they can do. He's always been tied to this battle against Logan and it feels like the show is getting ready to turn the page (I think the fascist candidate thing is gonna be a huge storyline moving forward).

There's a good chance I'm wrong and something will happen in the last two episodes that points to a new direction for that character. It would certainly be a devastating loss for the show but of all the fucked-up characters, he's the one that really has the "he's reached the end of his road" feeling over the past couple weeks.

 

They've said 1 or 2. They'll likely figure out how much story is left to tell while they write season 4.

 

I actually think if they killed anyone off, it would be Logan. Siblings would still be left to figure out the mess.

Yeah, I always assumed this would be the focus of the final season. A Kendall death would definitely hit much harder for viewers though.

 

They won't kill off Kendall this season, they finally gave him his The Big Short haircut for the next episode

 

I think they're being a little too obvious with the Kendall stuff and there will be a major curveball.

End of season 2 he was there with his Secret file at the press conference, but if he wouldn't trump his whole hand to Tom there's no way he gave Kendall everything, and now with Kendall constantly treating him like shit (the watch, calling him a family parasite)... I think there's a family coalition that wants to do the right thing but knows Kendall can't keep his shit together for long enough to do it properly

Greg barely had any documents left. Tom made him burn them, and Greg was able to save maybe like 5 of them, and who is to say how valuable they could be
