A coworker figured out that the “fuck off!” gifs can be found in Teams at work using very specific search terms and I am so excited to use it the next time someone makes some bullshit post
That was either the episode when the show jumps the shark or the episode that truly solidified it as a great show. No idea which right now but I respect them attempting a totally different kind of pace and storytelling style this year.
You know...PGN pulls up that photo of me with a ponytail anytime they want to make me look untrustworthy.
Airing out all of Kendall’s problems publically, FBI raiding, fake Ziwo appearance, straight asking for quid pro quo with the president. Plus the filmmaking style was markedly different. That’s not the show we’ve been watching, which isn’t a bad thing, but not sure how hard it is to notice that.
None of those things are outlandish in the context of the show, though. Like, of course the FBI was going to get a search warrant at some point after Kendall's accusations, especially since Logan was stonewalling them. Of course Logan thinks he's powerful enough to influence the President's decisions (and after the presidency we just lived though, i'm not sure how anyone can say that's unrealistic). Shiv was publicly embarrassed by Kendall and wanted to publicly embarrass him back. Lots of big things happened this episode but that doesn't make them shark-jumps. I mean Kendall literally killed someone in season one lol nothing that happened in this episode even comes close to that
Logan and Kendall Roy are playing the Feds into giving Kendall immunity and then revealing he is the one that was in control of the shipping scandal allowing the entire family to be off the hook and the person responsible, Kendall with immunity.
