Yeah this episode was much sharper than the first

 

they were both great

 

What did people think of the ending with what Logan said about Gerri? Is he setting her up as the fall guy? I noticed / remembered he totally ignored her as he got off the plane which I thought was interesting

 

Gerri will definitely be taking the heat. I feel like Roman doesn’t know that either so he’s gonna absolutely regret his decision of backing Gerri instead of Kendal

 

I didn’t read anything deeper into it, just a continuation of what he was talking about with his group/what Roman said to him: shes a good figurehead to put in place while the family actually controls things and then when the time comes, she’ll get sacked and replaced by Roman or Shiv. I don’t think she’s being set up for anything to do with the allegations

It’s hilarious that Connor seems most concerned about them but then when Shiv says don’t (and from our angle I believe Connor is smelling them but it could be hypothesized he was going to bite into one which I’m assuming is what Shiv was thinking) he has a look like, “come on seriously?” followed by his line about sending sending poisoned donuts to his grandkids house yet he was definitely most freaked by them lol

 

Unsurprising, but still very good news.

So on “The Watch” podcast for episode 2 they mentioned that the actor who plays Sandy won’t be on the show anymore and his character will be replaced by Hope Davis who plays his daughter and was the woman who was in the car with Stewy.

but like… did they ever explain that in the show / episode because I was confused as fuck at who that was / wondering if we were supposed to remember her from something

 

They had some sort of dialogue where she said she was on the phone with her dad

 

Kendall making a big deal about the manilla envelope just for it to say “fuck you” to Shiv was so fucking great. I love this show.
