Nice casting news lately but makes me sad that they are still doing any casting at all, meaning we're still many months away from a season premiere.

 

Yeah I had hopes that like some shows they had started filming months ago. Sucks.

 

I remember reading something recently where HBO said they hoped to have it premiere before the end of the year assuming no production delays. So I'm guessing late fall at the earliest.

 

It's possible they held off on the news and quietly finished casting long before production began, and are only now announcing to build hype

 

That seems to be the case. They've been filming since around January

 

It's pretty typical to slowly release casting news as shows/movies film. I'm expecting an early fall premiere for this

I hope Adrien Brody is playing the same absurd New York gangster character he played in Peaky Blinders

 

They said late Q4 if there were no further delays.
