Very late to the party, but my wife and I started this last week and we are 7 episodes in. I love shows about bad people and there are SO many in this. The family and business dynamic are downright intoxicating to watch.
Started a random rewatch the other day and apologies if this was discussed and major apologies if my old man brain brought this up before and I can’t remember that but I always thought it was curious that Marcia is in the room with Logan and Ken at the end of season 1 when Logan tells Ken he knows the kid died and they come up with the cover story. Like… why is she there? Why does she need to be in on it? I don’t think she provides anything there? ^^^ spoiler is regarding the end of season 1 for newbies who shouldn’t read that yet or wonder if it’s safe to do so.
What a strong first season of a television series. While he is consistently excellent, Jeremy Strong was incredible in those last two episodes at Shiv’s wedding.
We're halfway through season 2 and this scene really got me good. There's something about the Roys treating each other like humans that really gets you in the feels. Also, "Boar on the floor" in the Hunting episode was utter insanity!
Finished season two. Holy fucking shit. “He likes you when you’re broken” and then Logan telling Kendall he isn’t a killer set up that ending SO well. Absolute Judas’ kiss!
Still on my first watch. S3E3 “The Distraction” was amazingly uncomfortable. Kendall approaching the comedy writers saying he can take it then immediately being told his personal dirt is out there was so poetic. I am predicting Logan will blackmail Kendall with the secret about the guy he killed until he backs down.
