Correct. They bought some stuff from the place I work. I never know what word to use for that. “Checked out” sounds like I was…checking them out.
I don't know if I woulda been able to contain myself from saying "Fuck off, Karolina" as she walked away in my best Logan Roy voice
Until I looked her up, I didn't realize she was the love interest in The Count of Monte Cristo. And she's married to Patrick Wilson.
Damn. Connor’s Wedding. Perfect episode. I had a feeling Logan would kick the bucket before the show ended, but not this soon.
It was very considerate for the old man to go around the room and introduce the characters by name in the first episode.
I just watched the first episode. When I saw Ferrell and McKay in the credits I was worried but it seems interesting enough. I did think it was funny how close the first episode is to the first episode of Arrested Development.
I liked it? It is an eerie similarity to Arrested Development though. A rich father with three sons and one daughter (who has a strange husband with her) appears to be stepping down and giving power to one of the kids but instead tries to empower his wife before something out of left field happens.
First few are okay, gets really good a few episodes in. Then it only gets better and better as it goes on.
Gonna put this in spoilre tags since some folks are here watching for the first time. ‘Succession’ Creator Jesse Armstrong Settles Debate Over Whether Kendall Roy’s Name Was Underlined or Crossed Out
I really admire the shows' commitment to making everyone so villainous. Even Greg, despite being more innocent than the rest, is culpable because he chooses to look the other way because he is enjoying the perks. The most hateable characters, three episodes into season two: 1. Tom 2. Kendall 3. Connor 4. Roman 5. Logan 6. Shiv 7. Marcia 8. Greg
I hated Tom the most the instant he opened his mouth, and yet I still think I root for him over any of the Roy children.
Greg’s character development is one of my favorite things about this show. Can’t wait to see what you think. It’s really a magic trick how they make them so hateable, and yet you feel everything that they’re feeling.
