I’m sure it’s either already been covered in an article that is out or will be soon but I gotta rewatch that final scene with the 3 kids. Wonder how much of that was improvised because doesn’t Ken say something like “which one?” after Shiv talks about the kid he killed? And Roman looks baffled and amused so I wonder if that was Strong with a weird improv moment and they liked it so much they kept it in? Or maybe I really misheard what he meant or said? Because the show only showed/told about 1 person, right?
He did say “which” and I assume it was meant to convey confusion about who she was talking about because he assumed she meant like metaphorically killer someone’s career because he didn’t think she’d bring that up/had seemingly completely pushed it out of his mind after confessing it to them at the end of season 3
such an unforced error to pretend it was fake. as if logan hasn’t had someone knocked off, be serious
Kendall is so hilariously bad at convincing people of anything. Great ending, kind of insane Greg stayed in it the guy just successfully failed upwards the entire time lol.
That scene in the kitchen was too nice and warm, it was unsettling and I knew they were fucked. great finale, great show.
It was such an amazing performance when Strong was like, sniveling and teary eyed and begging lol. “Please, please! Pick me! Pick me!” before the tantrum of “I’m the eldest boy!!!!” Honest to god those moments were like watching an irate 4 year old in a grown man’s body / face
honestly i never wanna hear another word about Snook as a performer based on that scene alone, it's done, she's fantastic
Willa has taken *so much* bad dick from Connor (and probably a bunch of dudes before that) that she deserves the world.
i know we'll never find out but i have to imagine that throwaway line about the court battle with mencken means something
I may need to rewatch this episode, because I’m not in love with it. It’s not necessary the ending, as it’s the most thematically consistent one, but some of the steps it took to get there. Nearly excellent season and show, so I know with some time I’ll probably figure out my feelings
For a split second one of my nitpicks that’s not really a nitpick was them showing New York (?) in November without a single hint of snow but then I remembered I live in fucking Wisconsin and maybe 3 of the last 5 years we’ve still been cooking out in November without a dash of snow all month so the show is very truthful to its environment lol
Greg failing upward as a white man with family connections is one of the most accurate parts of this show.
Felt like two episodes in one, and all the positive stuff from the Caribbean hurt so much worse knowing it wouldn’t last.
