For sure. I’ve just never been as interested in who may or may not come out on top as I am in what the ultimate ending will have to say about everything the show has been doing.

 

If I had friends who watched the show I would definitely try to have a party for the finale

I’ve been watching at my friends with his wife and sister in law. It’s been fun. We’re going to order a bunch of food and watch the finale outside on his projector.

 

I’m really not expecting anything big to happen or a nice wrapped up conclusion in the finale. No one’s going to be happy or victorious, the misery will continue.

 

This is really the most likely scenario unless we get a time jump or Kendall/Mattson get ruined. In which case, Karl becomes CEO

I predict people will be mad online no matter what. Bold take, I know

 

I’ve been watching with my GF and her sister each Monday. they make dinner and in exchange I practice my patience while they stop the show multiple times to ask questions, confirm where they know certain actors from, and get up to take care of their high maintenance dog. Not the best watch group I’ve ever had but better than nothing I suppose.

 

kinda cant believe theres 1 episode left with what feels like so much still to happen.

Maybe it was mentioned and I missed it but the kerry/marcia scene seemed nice. Couldn't tell if she was being legit there or was doing it completely begrudgingly.

 

it seemed pretty legit, even more so with the context of the scene between marcia and shiv

 

Jeremy Strong is really great but let’s not put this character or even Walter White up there with Tony Soprano. We don’t always have to do this every time something is really good

 

I think I mostly agree that the character isn't as good as Soprano but I did like the whole "embodying the character" point...like he IS Kendall Roy when he's on screen.

Interesting point on WW. I know he gets ranked up there but wonder what the general consensus is on him v. tony as "best tv characters"

 

I’d take Walter over Tony any day of the week but am prepared to be in the minority
