Yeah that's really not my favorite thing at all, I'm trying to focus on the Bradley/Jakob of it all because I do think a lot of this is really really special
it's insane to say, but this is one of the best albums I have heard this year, it honestly is kinda a revelation. I'm still in shock that Jakob, at the same age that Bradley died, was able to seamlessly continue the band like they never left. If someone had no knowledge of the band and you played them self titled and this album back to back, they wouldn't even question for a second that any time passed or that the band members changed or anything
Sublime Singer (Bradley Nowell's Son Jakob) Addresses His Future With the Band “Unless a child of mine wants to make another one one day, this is the last one I’m gonna make," shares Nowell. "I think you have to know your goals, set out to achieve them and, if you do, you must then create new goals. I love doing this and it’s truly healed me in many ways and allowed me to grow as an entertainer and performer. But I wish to carry the flag forward in different ways now."
I didn’t realize this is out tonight, hell yeah gonna see how my Dad a giant Sublime fan feels about it too
