I've had Cemetery from American Paradox on repeat this week, what a brilliant song. Love the dark tone of the track and that lead guitar part.

To be honest only dipped in and out of their discography. Any particular highlights I should start with?

 

Exile and Transmission.Alpha.Delta are probably good ones to check out if you like that song/guitar.

 

This is the correct answer. TAD is their magnum opus. Exile was just remixed/remastered by the guy that did TAD for them so keep your eyes open for that if you enjoy it, which you absolutely will.

Jordan posted some videos of himself and Kyle Black remixing it and it sounds phenomenal. They finished a demo from the Exile era as well and it sounds like it's going to be released as a single before anything else!

 

From a production standpoint, Exile is the album of theirs that has aged the absolute worst. But the songs all rip so... Real glad this one's getting a glow-up!

Pittsburgh would be the show I would go to but we already have a family vacation planned and I'll be out of town. I'm not even that mad about it since almost half of the band has changed. It just isn't the same. Still stoked AF for the Exile remaster and new bside though!

 

Caught this the other day. Unfortunately, I'll be out-of-town when this tour comes to Boston... But at least this means we'll get the promised remaster for that album before then? I seriously cannot wait for that!

They've been playing Exile in full for a few weeks in Europe. I went to the show here in Norway. Very cool to hear some of these deeper cuts live, like Katatonia.

Jesus, that’s something I missed entirely and seems like completely counter to everything else I’ve heard him say. What a dipshit.

 

Sounds kind of like Anna Lee? But also the vocals don't sound anything like Exile. I just want the damn reissue already. Seems like it's taking forever to come out.
