Just watched the first episode and love how the music compliments the vibe of the show. Not knowing how the rest of the season plays out but automatically it's reminding me of J.J. Abrams' "Super 8"

Can anyone else see the slight Freaks and Geeks comparison? I mean with the older teenage girl whose a former "goodie too shoes" who is now in with the "cool bad kids" and her younger brother who hangs out with the dorky kids.
