Still can't stop thinking about Neverending Story now. Need to re-watch the season and take everything in again.
I loved Never Ending Story but that scene was so dumb and just completely out of place with the rest of the episode. I can't believe how long they went on with it.
I was just thinking about the season and had a question. Might have missed it. Did they have an explanation for the green acid that they were using as fuel for the machine that was opening the Upsidedown? Like a name or what exactly it was? Was it mentioned in previous seasons? I have stoner brain so I'm not sure if I missed it or anything.
I was laughing hysterically at first but then it got old really fast haha Max and Lucas taunting him over it at the end was great though
Nope, I don't think they elaborated on it at all, which makes me think it might come into play next season.
They were changing out those green tubes to power the machine keeping the gate open. All we know is that it’s a power source and it can melt through floors if not contained.
Erica needed to forfeit ever questioning someone’s intelligence again after ranting at Robin about how she would drink the goo simply because it’s a liquid.
I really really hope they ease up with the writing for her next season. The part at the end was super sweet and gives me some hope that they’ll let her be a real person and not a walking one-liner machine.
I think part of the reason I was frustrated by this season is because they took away the whole "Eleven's Powers & Backstory" element of the show, which makes sense given the blacklash to Episode 7 last season, and even though I know we pretty much know everything at this point, that was the most engaging part of the series in my opinion, and it felt like this season asked more questions than it answered on all other fronts (The Goo, What's Up With Russia, How Did The Mind Flayer Partially Stay Out Here?)
I’m sure a lot of that will come up again after being on the back burner. Helping her get her powers back might require them trying to find out more about their specific nature and history. I would love for El to be able to choose whether or not she continues using them in the end.
I love that outfit for El. You can really tell just how bad Will’s hair is when every kid is in the same picture and how much they are fighting to age them down.
