My post is a joke... it spoils absolutely nothing but it did make me go, “wtf?” In a non serious way. There is a scene where Johnathan claims to be tired from going out with “the gang” the night before. I didn’t think Johnathan had any friends? What’s he lying about? What did he really do? In reality, it’s a throwaway line to explain why he is tired and that’s it.
Mike is the wooooooooorst. Except that’s not true. Will’s wig is without a doubt the worst thing about the season. Poor kid can’t catch a break even when he isn’t being possessed.
I mean it’s a parallel, locking her away last season was to protect her from physical harm/the govt. this is trying to protect her from growing up. I like the change
Yeah I get what they’re going for, I just don’t think it works. Him trying to just move on while others are hung up on the past is a much better story for him.
Overheard a group of folks earlier talking about the show, and agreeing that they should be bold enough to “kill some of the kids off”, and I couldn’t imagine actually being part of that discussion, let alone agreeing with it. One of them also said they only watch it for Mike and Steve, and although I like Steve, those are probably two of the least interesting characters in the show.
Oh lol. Me out loud, “Wow that gives me some huge It vibes.” Max to El immediately after, “Is this it?”
I wouldn’t say I want any of the kids to die. But, I think a lot of people want there to be stakes in stuff like this. If they only ever kill or seriously affect minor characters it can take away tension in certain situations. Like, oh, Eleven is there? No serious harm will come to them. At some point something should give. Doesn’t mean someone has to die though.
