Regarding Max & Billy's move, I don't get why anyone would end up in Hawkins for a "fresh start"...like did they just point to a random spot on a US map and decide to move there? Not even important but I was kinda confused at that lol
Lol Mike's parents are the worst. If I ran past my parents out the door with money I stole from one of my sisters, I wouldn't have made it past the driveway.
Uhh what?! I completely forgot they had a third child until you said this! Lmao. Yeah now I remember that scene with Mike's mom visiting Joyce with the youngest daughter in S1.
watched episodes 1-7 yesterday, finishing it tonight and so far really enjoying it so being careful how much I click into this thread but the episode where she goes and joins the suicide squad was absolutely terrible. other than that it has been great. these kids are great actors. i laugh so much when they curse at each other.
Yeah, I forget who it was a few pages back, but someone was saying it was really apparent how poorly some other actor was compared to Will, and I'm not quite sure where he's getting that from. All the children have been great actors, Will just happens to have more heart-wrenching and painful experiences this season to highlight his acting abilities more, same with Eleven in her more emotional scenes, such as the fight with Hopper. They've all done fantastic with what they've been given in my opinion.
Fair enough, we all have our opinions, to each their own! I think Mike has been insanely frustrating to me this season, but I don't know that I'd say he's a bad actor.
Man I don't think episode 7 was that bad. It was the worst of the season by far I didn't care for any of the other actors/actresses. Millie's acting was really great in that episode and saved it for me.
This review almost perfectly articulates how I feel about this season, and I guess the show in general, in a way I could not. Which is to say that as a whole I think it’s good, not great, but certainly not bad, and that’s fine. I feel like there isn’t much room for the middle of the road anymore when it comes to entertainment criticism, especially in the age of the internet. Things tend to be labeled as “the best” or “the worst” when really they’re just okay. I like this show, I don’t love it, and sometimes I feel like that’s not enough for some people lol. Did ‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 Live Up to Expectations?
I can for sure respect this. I felt this way after season 1 i said “yeah its good” and people were appalled when i didnt say that i thought it was the greatest show ever created.
I would put Mike above Lucas and that's basically how I feel this season. Although Dustin would have been my #1 last season.
I didn’t think Finn W was that great in It either. S1 is def his peak so far in his career, but he’s showing more promise than anything
