My wife worked a graveyard last night so I’m stuck waiting for her to wake up before we watch t! I’m dying
Yeah like a dummy. I didn't know I was doing it until I sat down lol. Me wife called me an asshole/hero already this morning for watching it without her. She's not wrong.
I'm starting this now. I'm covering it in 3 chunk episodes so I'll be avoiding this thread until tomorrow most likely. Don't want to have my thoughts/writing influenced by others too much haha.
I'm pissed, I have a wedding tonight and then my girlfriend is away all weekend on a company trip and I can't watch it without her... >_>
Haven't started it yet (I am this evening) but this is one of the elements that excites me most. Noah Schnapp gave me huge Hayley Joel Osment vibes just from the trailer.
I don't generally ever finish a whole season in one night. So will come back for some second opinions in a few days!
Pretty good overall. My way too premature opinion is that season 1 is better. - Soundtrack is of course, amazing - Sean Astin is a national treasure and I loved his character :( - I feel like Mike's character didn't really do much this season - It was nice to see that the other kids had parents/families lol - Mad Max is bae - I feel like Episode 7 really threw off the flow of things, wasn't the biggest fan of that whole arc And a whole bunch of other stuff that will come to me after I get sleep
I kept meaning to at least watch the first episode but I couldn't drag myself away from Mario. I think I'll get a couple in tonight.
I’m on episode 7 right now and I gotta say, I hate this episode. Absolutely hate it. I hate where they’re going with Eleven. It was so good up until this point.
Staying out of this thread until I’m done. What’s the general consensus on this? I’m three episodes in and I’m kinda eh about it. I’m enjoying it, it’s entertaining enough, but I’m definitely not enthralled. It’s just going in some frustrating directions. Again, only three episodes in so my mind can completely change
Season 1 of this was just so good. I figured they couldn't top it but I'm 2 episodes in and loving the new characters so far and of course the old ones as well. I would say its on par with season 1 for me through 2 episodes. btw Steve's playlist on spotify is FIRE
Two eps in Hating sad lovesick 11, missing bad ass 11. Mike's always been my least favorite and he has so little depth, Will is killing it so far and Dustin/Lucas have fun stuff to do.
Episode 7 That was an incredibly dumb and obtuse 45 minutes of television just to lead El to a realization that she probably could have figured out in two minutes on her own time
Nowhere near as good as season 1. It actually hits a pretty substantial speed bump in terms of storytelling towards the end of the season. Some characters didn't grow much from last season. Other characters get kinda pointless. I enjoyed it for sure but season one was just something else.
