I just want Nancy, Steve and Johnathan to become a crime fighting trio and the best of friends. That's all I want
i made a horrible mistake of filling friday and saturday with plans but sunday is gonna be me and my snugglie wugglies and the recliner and some substances and i will finish this in one setting
A little late to the Steve conversation, but what redeems him for me after my re-watch isn't him cleaning up the graffiti or coming back to kill the monster. It's that conversation he has with Tommy and Carol at the gas station beforehand when he tells them how miserable they are. That's the key moment. If they hadn't shown that, he still could've fought the monster to win over Nancy's affections just because she's pretty, but he actually disowns his friends even when he has a very slim chance of getting back with Nancy because he's sick of being miserable no matter what. And Joe Keery does a terrific job showing Steve's disquiet throughout the season leading up to that point. Best character arc of Season 1, IMO. Two. More. Days.
There are moments before that as well. As I said earlier they are quick little line and moments. It was easier to see/ pick up on with a second viewing.
Yes, absolutely. That's what I meant about Joe Keery's subtle performance being so good leading up to that point. That moment at the gas station is when it finally bubbled up to the surface though and gave his following acts that much more meaning.
I am currently deciding whether or not I should power through all of it tonight. It's such a terrible idea. At least I work from home..
I'll start tomorrow afternoon. I think me and the lady are staying in and carving some more pumpkins so it's a good set up. (To get killed in a horror movie.)
3am and on episode 5 The kid that plays Will is such a good actor. You didn't really get to see that in the first season.
