I didn’t know what to make of the Terry Ives stuff in the first season. Whether they were just trying to make us think Eleven was her daughter or if she actually was. There's A Big Clue About Eleven In The New "Stranger Things 2" Trailer
That Blu-ray release looks terrific. Jamming the season one score this morning. Not long to wait now...
Probably about time I get around to a rewatch. Could not be more excited for the 27th, between this, Julien Baker and Mario.
Soon apparently meant right away. Finished episode 2, and I dislike Ryder just as much as my first watch. Don't understand how people liked her in this.
I know the point was to make her look crazy when legitimate stuff is happening to her, but it is a bit much.
I have liked her more on the rewatch. I think now that I know what she is seeing and experiencing is real, I am more easily able to side with her and want her to be taken seriously even if she is over emotional in how she is communicating her experiences.
I think the only real problem I have with her is that for some reason I only associate her with Mr. Deeds so that’s all I can think about when she’s on screen.
Just finished my rewatch. Along with liking Joyce more, I also appreciated Steve a bit more. He’s still a total ballbag, but I see why Nancy still wants to be with him. He had some smaller moments that stood out more to me this time knowing what he does at the end with the monster. I am so ready for next weekend now!
Just rewatched. First time through I think I was so blown away by Millie Bobby Brown and Gaten Matarazzo that I didn't take into account how phenomenal Finn Wolfhard's acting is. But man.
Just rewatched. Even better the second time. Can’t tell if I hate or love Joyce. That performance is either incredible or terrible. Changes every episode for me. Wonder if I will binge the whole thing in one sitting....
