Agreed, I thought we'd be getting more Robin behind the mic throughout the season in some way shape or form.
Finished rewatching Season 3 and I maintain that last episode is one of the best episodes of anything ever and you cannot convince me otherwise. Billy's final moments, Hopper fighting Grigori, the kids firing fireworks at the kaiju, that ending speech from Hopper, the fucking duet with Dustin and Suzie, Steve and Robin's big damn heroes moment with the car... so much to love. Only the previous episode cones close with Steve and Robin's shenanigans and poor Alexei. Long live Alexei! All he wanted from life was a stuffed animal and a cherry Slurpee. We could learn from his example.
It is absolutely not one of the best episodes of anything ever but it rocked and might be the best ep of the series.
Refusing to listen to the unnecessary refutation of my enthusiasm. You can't hurt me, vampire! (makes cross symbol) Anyway, Jonathan rooting around in El's wound like he's digging for gold might be the most horrible thing I've watched in a while.
probably like the exact middle of my ranking of this show if I ranked the episodes (I am not going to do that) the fakeout Hop death was so cheap and that shot of him smiling at Joyce must be the ugliest cinematography in this whole show, looks really bad
Poor Alexei. I’ll say this, even though they didn’t have the guts to kill a main cast member (which is fine by me), they did a pretty good job getting us to care about Alexei and Eddie
If he did he wouldn’t have to be awkwardly there for the rest of it. He had nothing to do, didn’t even get a future, just kill him!
