Well that was fucking exactly what I wanted. Those characters man. It feels good to let yourself get lost in a story.
Oh man the fight with Vecna felt rushed and the military just disappearing felt like yadda yaddaing but it was so worth it to spend the last 50 minutes or so just wrapping up the journey of these characters. Glad El and Kali pulled it off. And just a perfect perfect ending having them play D&D. Like the hinting at Mike becoming an author. Loved Holly and the next generation rushing down the stairs and Mike looking at them. Perfect ending and man I really loved these kids even though they weren’t really kids anymore at the end. All the flashbacks to the first couple seasons just reminded me how much I really loved that story and that world with those kids. Such a perfect way to end it.
