I forgot the majority of season 2 and 3. Rewatching the whole series was so much more fun than expected.

Let's be honest. The only main character who might die is Murray. No one else is on the chopping block cause it's just not that kind of show
God damn, Jonathan's unspoken acknowledgement of Will's sexuality in the S4 finale and telling him he loves him no matter what and that nothing could ever stop him from being there for him is so good
Scenes like that make me realize that I actually really like Jonathan, but only when he's being a big brother to Will. So much of his story centering around Nancy in the later seasons really stalled his character IMO
That’s probably my favorite scene from season four other than Max’s Dear Billy episode. Just a beautifully understated scene. The more I think about the writing and placement of the coming out scene this season, the more I feel like maybe they should have switched around the endings to episodes four and seven. Have him come out to his friends and family first, thinking that will relieve him of the stress of hiding from everyone, only to then realize that he’s still struggling and can’t understand why. Then have his first “sorcerer” moment be when he realizes the only person who truly needs to accept him for who he is is himself. Then he wrecks the demogorgons and Vecna and we go into the finale fired up and maybe a little too overconfident.
Was going to watch the finale tomorrow but I woke up sick. A sign for me to stay in tonight and watch the finale.
I hope Vecna says “the Abyss has five minutes left until it explodes” for the whole two-hour finale just like Frieza
Just finished S4 after many distractions tonight. Gotta say, Hawkins was in way worse shape at the end of 4 than at the beginning of 5. Weird how it stopped snowing ash and plants stopped dying
