Dacre Montgomery on Why He Took Acting Hiatus After 'Stranger Things'. Apparently Dacre took a step back from acting for a while
Not just that, it sounds like he's actually actively dodging the spotlight. Good for him, doing things on his terms.
Rewatching the whole show and I dunno if this is a hot take but one thing I definitely did not remember is how badly Winona Ryder overacts in Season 1. Mostly anytime when she's supposed to be overcome with grief, it sounds incredibly forced and like she's doing this weird thing with her voice that just doesn't work.
Also "Why are you keeping this curiosity door locked" should have spread more into public consciousness.
Ah ok. Well that’s good. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders. And he got to makeout with Geraldine Viswanathan in a movie. Can’t be mad at that.
I saw some really bad horror movie last week and Dacre was in it playing some swagged-out mid-aughts dbag and it made me laugh.
https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1BFjqRtySo/ I don't get what they are implying here? That Henry's badge number adds up to 8? So Kali is the Mind Flayer? But that would mean she was evil even back in Chicago?
Agree to disagree. She's much better when she's angry, but when she's just trying to be hysterical it just sounds very overdone. It feels like someone trying to be distraught, not someone who is actually distraught. A quick Google search tells me I'm not alone in feeling this way, so I take comfort in that.
Making Kali evil would feel so stupid. Hopper’s distrust of her should be something he comes to realize was a mistake, not him being right the whole time.
is it not just that it’s also November 6? The day Will went missing, the day Henry went missing, the day it’s all going to end?
I don’t think there’s a bigger thing with Kali, I think the extent of her bad-ness is gonna come down to her truly believing both her and El need to die to make sure the experiment finally dies. Whether she changes her mind last minute or not I don’t know. But I lean towards her being a true believer in that and trying to kill El (and herself)…and possibly succeeding.
