I know why he’s doing it, but does Max escape because of Holly and her help and the memory door shit, or because of Lucas’s love (or Kate Bush or whatever corny shit that speech is about)
Holly figuring out a way to the place where the “portals” or whatever they are appear is what Max needed to get there, what Max means is she didn’t actually need Kate Bush to open the portal, Lucas and the love of him would be enough to get her out of her trance
I believe she had to get to the exit area (red world) to find her gate home. In the end, Lucas (and their shared love) would have also allowed her gate to open, but Kate Bush didn’t hurt anything. Max had been chased away from the exit area and needed a way back to it. Being with Holly allowed her to use Holly’s memories to get them both to the exit area.
To be clear, still like the show. Still enjoy watching it. But the deeper they get into sci fi multi dimension lore the more I think they have no idea what they’re doing on that front
For me the enjoyment factor is raised immensely by just assuming that whatever it is they’re talking about with wormholes and alternate dimensions are just “how this world works”. The upside down is actually a wormhole into the other dimension where El sent Henry to and that’s where the demogorgans and vines and mind flayer are actually from? Cool, I accept it
I think it’s lip filler or something, she looks so different from the first 4 seasons even beyond the aging 3 years since season 4 thing that has hit the entire cast hard lol I honestly do not understand the Botox and lip filler trend but I’m just a boy and feel like every person I ever see talking about it is doing so in extremely sexist ways so I’m not gonna engage in the discourse on it lol
I don’t know what else I was expecting, but didn’t think 7 would end just like that. Thank god we only need to wait a few more days
I chuckled. Season is fine/good so far. Glad to have this show still going. Excited to see how it wraps up. I looked at a ticket for the finale and I can get a single seat for myself, but my wife works so I can't take her. So, I'll watch at home like most and have a good time. I thought S4 was the best. The horror stuff with the bodies all contorting and breaking was wild and scary. All the big reveals with Vecna, Henry, the house, clocks, Max's episode, Eddie, Metallica, Kate Bush, ect..... S4 felt so huge and I loved it. Russian stuff was weird, but we made it through.

Definitely don’t get the hate for these new eps. They aren’t like, the best of the series, but they are in line with part one.
