I think the wormhole stuff is interesting but I'm annoyed it's being revealed so close to the end. I want to explore more of this lore in detail
Felt very jarring lol. We have a Republican governor and don't have that, but we are technically more of a purple state
there are moments in this season that have felt incredibly cliche and frustrating, but when the show works, it fires on all cylinders. maybe not what i was expecting, but definitely better than the shitshow a lot of people thought it would be
I don’t get the need for someone to have to die though. Was this ever that kind of show besides the outside characters? If they get satisfying conclusions that’s good enough for me. That being said I feel like Kali will die orrrr there’s gonna be an unnecessary double cross there or something
Nancy sucks, all she's done is make everything worse. Blowing the sky open with a shotgun, breaking a hole in the door so her and Jonathan can drown faster. How is she still alive
I was so confused by Nancy and Johnathan's scene there. I only just learned that they apparently broke up in that scene by scrolling by a reddit post about it
Loves The Clash, reads Catcher In The Rye, wears flannels. Goddammit I just realized Jonathan is my dad in the 80's.
just watched episode 5 and yeah that was pretty fucking awesome. And somehow seeing the confusion and recognition on his face of what was going on was great. I let out a “oh shit” when Will broke his legs haha
Vecna needing Will to "spy" and show him that Max was in a hospital seemed silly though lol that shouldn't have been a mystery to him
Oh man episode 6 was fantastic. Max and Holly are such a cute duo and it’s fun seeing the nerdy Wheeler-ness come out in Holly. That Henry memory was interesting. That briefcase definitely gonna tell us something about what Vecna is really up to
i mean mostly ‘make the new world’ or whatever vague statement he keeps making but there seems to be something else there that’s not been totally revealed yet. The confirmation that the Upside Down is actually a wormhole opens up some possibilities but ima need Dustin to explain this to me like I’m 5 in the next episode lol
Calling it right now, the Upside-Down is an incursion and the cast will return in Avengers: Secret Wars.
And Dustin finally letting the facade down and showing his fear of losing Steve to Steve was great, felt so bad for him in that moment and Steve of course not seeing it before because he never does lol
So, I never got to S3 and S4 on my rewatch, so I could be forgetting things here ... But why does Dr. Kay not know that El is with Hopper? Dr. Owens got the paperwork for her to be his daughter, I guess I assumed that meant he used his government connections to do that, meaning the government should know where El is already?
