I figured Benny Schwartz would be on board with this type of thing but I was happy to see Joe Keery totally game for playing along.
Finally got around to watching this the past few days. Loved it. Was a lot scarier/creepier than I was expecting.
Late, but I'm pretty sure that in the Harmontown Ep featuring the Duffer Bros, they confirmed Season 2 was set a year later after Season 1. Also, Turbo Kid was wayy too over the top. Especially in an altered state
Man, I really, really loved this show. Late to the party by a few months (was catching up on OitNB with the wife), but so glad we finally watched this. It hit all the right notes for me from start to finish and I think Eleven and Dustin are some of my favorite TV characters in a long time. I really wanna go back and rewatch all of season one to pick through some of the foreshadowing and nuances, but even moreso just for sheer enjoyment. Can't wait for season two (and really hoping Eleven returns).
I just finished binge watching this show today, and good god it was just as great as everyone hyped it up to be
Some pretty big names joining. Adults too - hopefully there's still a good emphasis on the kids and teenagers.
Tomorrow is my birthday and my colleagues got me a "What About Barb?" shirt as a gift. I have the best. coworkers. ever.
Saw one of the child actors on an ep of Law & Order last night. I yelled out "he's from Stranger Things!" to which my fiancé and cousin were like....cool.
Finally got around to this and loved the hell out of it. It has a sense of joy that makes it so fun to watch. Also the final scene of Will coughing up that slug is a nice callback to the first scene of the pilot where Will tells Mike that the demogorgon "got him".
Just finished this and caught up on this thread. Loved Hopper and 011 the most, not to knock anything else. This show mixed horror, thriller, mystery and light hearted comedy perfectly. I'm so happy we live in a time where we are getting these streaming shows that are shorter with no filler and endings in mind. Surprised no love for Lucas, who was my fav kid with Dustin very close behind. I guess Mike wasn't given an interesting personality because he was the main character and they thought his bond with El was enough for him? He was super bland though.
Happened to flip the channel to the SAG awards second before that happened and was super confused. Like, I thought I missed some weird inside joke or something haha. Speech was cool though.
