I've never seen The Sarah Connor Chronicles and so I'm now just understanding that was Lena Headey and my mind is blown.
Technically Holly should be like... 7 years old, but they aged her up to 9(?) in the show for some reason.. and recast her with a 13 year old. So, yeah, if they aged her up by 2 years, it's dumb they didn't for everyone else. I don't think they know what the fuck they're doing lol
I think they had a timeline in mind and didn't want to adjust it. So now we have a teenage seven year old and a bunch of grown men playing high school juniors. Like if Holly was 13 playing 11 that'd be fine. If they were all seniors about to graduate that would make perfect sense. It's just a little too much with how they're doing it.
I’m choosing to take it as a meta joke at how people will hyper analyze the age of kids and how realistic it is in a show about monsters and wizards and super heroes. it’s obviously silly but who cares lol
they should have just put the whole cast in backwards hats to signify they're young like Tobin Bell in Saw
Finished the last episode and these four are better than most of season 4. Think vecna looks dumb. Never liked the design and it just looks fake. Tired of the Jonathan Nancy Steve triangle. Dustin didn’t bother me that much since he didn’t have much screen time.
I am dumb and initially thought the "engaging" jazz cassette that Jonathan had smuggled in was drugs. I guess it's supposed to be an engagement ring lol I mean come on if a dude was handing me a Miiles Davis album while calling it "engaging" *wink wink* I would immediately assume I was being given joints.
Finished it last night. Most I’ve enjoyed since early season 3 (I like that season a lot but they didn’t stick the landing for me) or maybe 4; could have used even a little more Vecna, but there’s no shortage of action. When are we gonna discuss that Karen Wheeler is Alice Creel
No complaints about this so far. I recall season 4 feeling more dreadful. More epic moments in that. But we're only 4 eps in. Plenty more to come. One of the seasonal kids we hired last holiday said he did some extra work in season 5. He SAID he was in the finale and knew "everything". I live in Alabama just across the Georgia line where they film not too far from me. I didn't drill him for details. I really wish I would have taken a day trip to go see where the filmed Hawkins High school. But that has since been torn down.
My ex went there as it was being torn down, took a piece of the building and brought it home for me. Super cool little piece of memorabilia.
