Okay finally finished it. Took me awhile because I'm too chicken to watch scary/horror films, but I had seen to much and didn't want to miss out. Everyone's all about Mike and Nancy and Eleven...but Hopper is my guy. He had me cheering for him the moment he walked into Will's house and asked if the hole in the wall had been there before. Also, I assume everyone hates on Steve? However, I'm happy he didn't remain full cliche popular dude douche and had some sort of redemption to his character
Hopper is my favorite as well, especially in the back half of the series. As for Steve, I was just surprised that Nancy stayed with him when it was all said and done. Maybe it would have been too neat, but I thought she and Jonathan would have gone somewhere.
I like Steve as a character. He's not just the average popular high school asshole. Which makes you hate him all the more when he's a dick.

Steve through out some "rapey" vibes to me. I was surprised they kept him and grew his character, but I do like him towards the end.
The impression I got from the last scene is that Nancy isn't 100% satisfied being with Steve over Jonathan. But them ending up together would have been, IMO, a little too cliche
Um Steve was all for getting Nancy drunk and abandoning her friend so he could get laid. That's not forgiveable, sorry dudes.
I wanted to kick his ass when he climbed through her window RIGHT after that whole big deal she made about him not coming over the first time.
I agree. As has been mentioned, though, some of Steve's actions make me prefer that Nancy would end up single at the end of the series. But that hardly impacts my impression of the show, which I think is terrific.
It's almost too obvious that Nancy and Jonathan is going to happen but they'll just drag it out for a season or two.
Ah ok. It seemed like something that could've stood alone and they did a new story. But I like the cast so that's cool. And after I typed that, I just now remembered reading it'll pick up a year later cause obviously the kids would get older. So a lapse on my part lol.
So when I was out for my walk on Sunday, I saw these kids on their bikes in the road. One of the kids was riding on the back, in a similar fashion as Eleven. All I could think was they were reenacting Stranger Things. That's the only logical conclusion
