The Will/Mike/Lucas/Robin/Joyce arc ended with a huge thing The Eleven/Hopper arc ended with a big thing The Steve/Nancy/Dustin/Jonathan arc ended with "hey we found this weird wall"...come on. 3 of them are my favorite characters, give em something meatier than that.
Just other kids. Vecna is escalating as he goes. He started with just Holly. The next night, the gang assumed there was 1 target, Derek. However, there were 3 targets that night, but they saved Derek, so 2 others got snagged. Then presumably, the next night would have been the remaining 8, if his plan and gone as expected. A slight alteration to snagging the last 9 on the third night.
I understand Holly thinks Henry is a good guy and she’s safe but she also just watched both her parents get fucked up by a giant monster and she’s dancing around baking cakes and stuff. Am I missing something?

She’s 9years old, in a beautiful home that her imaginary friend told her is safe from the very monsters he was warning her were coming/she actually saw, and said friend has promised her her parents are fine and are joining her soon. She’s 9, she’s not gonna sit there and wallow and overthink about her parents at that moment lol.
I think if I was 9 I would be even more concerned that my parents just got incredibly fucked up at the very least I wouldn’t be partying
I do wonder how those remaining kids on the base are doing that had to take shelter under the bunks. You'd think that if they weren't killed by monsters, that a couple would have been clipped by the machine guns going off all over the place
It was funny to have just finished Resident Alien like two weeks ago only to find her playing basically the same character in this show
I like that the Steve/Nancy/Dustin/Jonathan arc had a little Back To The Future vibes to it with the car.
