I mean, I can’t really recall anything great from him in 3 and 4, but he did great in s2. Playing possessed and such, along with his freak outs when he was shaking in pain. Pretty good for a kid. But, he hasn’t done much since s2. Context of the actor aside, I could see Will being critical in the final season. As I rewatched s4, they kept calling Vecna a dark wizard. It made me think that Will the Wise somehow getting powers to be the one to truly take Vecna out would be cool. Going from a kidnapped, to being possessed by the mindflayer, to becoming a “true” wizard to defeat Vecna would be satisfying. But, I’m not sure they’d take El’s spotlight for a moment like that.

Will was good in Season 1-3. 4 was meh minus the crying scene in the car. I think puberty hitting his voice made the awkward scared little kid thing seem way off
