my feeling on rewatch was the first 3ish episodes were a little slow/kids were annoying but by the end of the season I was “yeah this belongs up there with 1” lol. Once Mike stops being so whiny and over the top about El dumping him the boys get much more tolerable

 

Dustin, Steve and Robin really carry s3 all by themselves lol

 

Steve and Robin very quickly and easily became my favorite friendship on the show. Just so sweet and genuine.

Kinda wild to finish my rewatch and see how emotional the reunion of Hopper and Eleven was at the end of Season 4 and then come to this thread to see that headline lol

Season 4 too along with Max. The Dustin/Steve/Robin/Max/Nancy/Lucas subplot was the only part of the season that was good.

All the characters I don't really like were off in their own California subplot with that one annoying stoner character actor.

I thought the Hopper/Joyce/and the russian brief road trip was good as well. Also Billy’s role in S3 was better than any other antagonist so far.

The actor who plays Billy really nails the psychotic asshole vibe so well. It’s a shame he died.

 

Not gonna do a rewatch, but will dig into the Dead Meat videos on the series to get re-caught up before Thanksgiving.
