Just finished season 1 and I easily remembered that one more vividly than I can even remember season 4 lol. It's easily my favorite season

One thing I did completely forget was that they made a stuffed fake dead Will though haha

Almost done season 3 on my rewatch and the moment when Robin comes out to Steve is so sweet, and it’s so heartbreaking that she thinks Steve will hate her when he finds out

But also I’m still salty they didn’t end up together they were so cute together all season lol

Just finished season 3 on my rewatch…def think it deserves to be in the discussion for best season with 1, even though I still think 1 is better…or at least I love the feel of season 1 more. 3 on the other hand might not have that same cozy nostalgia feeling of 1 but goddamn it really delivers story wise and fun wise.

Also episode one of season 4 started so I watch a bit and I realized while I remember the big story beats, I actually do forget a lot about this season. Forgot the cold open started with papa, forgot Steve’s boobies rant in the car with Robin lol

Boy that whole thing with Will's tunnel map in S2 requires so much suspension of disbelief lol. Like how the fuck did they figure any of that shit out haha

Just nitpicking the kind of thing you notice on a rewatch haha. Doesn't bother me at all really, I'm enjoying s2 a lot more than I remember the last time

3 episodes through season 4 and I'm convinced people complaining about anything other than having to wait so long for 4 and 5 are just letting that wait poison their opinion of the actual show because so far 4 is pretty damn good on rewatch. The only complaint I ahve is the episodes do feel their length sometimes. On one hand I'm loving getting all the story in all these episodes and on the other hand I'm like "damn this really is an hour and 20 minutes long" lol. But lots of good jokes and banter, a level of creepiness and the horror movie vibes....good stuff.

I will say the character that suffers the mmost from the long time between seasons looks wise is Dustin. Dude looks sooooooooooooo much older in 4 than in 3. Lucas and Mike are noticeably taller and lost the remaining baby fat and all that but Dustin really went from pre-pubescent to grown ass man in one season lol. I'm sure his medical condition probably plays into that a little bit though.

I watched through season 3 as the show aired but never picked back up with 4. Knowing it would end with season 5 and anticipating a long break that would require a refresher anyway, figured it made more sense to just do it all in a one fell swoop. Finished season 2 over the weekend - currently I’m about as lukewarm on the show up to this point as I ever was, but remember really liking season 3 so I’m excited for that. Also to finally see what the hype was all about with season 4

I think 3 is my favorite. No interest to rewatch any of them except maybe the nyc scuzz ep that everyone hates

I was going to do a rewatch before the new season but that idea lasted about 30 seconds.

  23. Having not seen any of it since 2019 at the latest definitely made the decision to rewatch easier. Pre-covid feels like a lifetime ago haha, let alone summer 2016. Dunno that it has served its purpose so far though, I remembered those first two seasons much more accurately than anticipated

  24. i think the only seasons i've watched more than once are the first two and only bc i have them on dvdvhs

I did a full rewatch ahead of s4 last time. It was really enjoyable but I don’t feel the need to do it again ahead of 5. I might rewatch 4 though.
