It should not take 4 years to do a season of a show. Although, it is nice that I don’t have to reactivate Netflix for another year.
It's funny to me that people will happily wait 2-6 or more years for a 2 hour sequel to a movie, but scoff at waiting 3 years for probably 10 hours of a TV series
People absolutely do not wait happily for 6 years for a movie. Did you miss everybody bitching about The Batman 2 being pushed back another year recently?
That's a very singular example for a very specific audience. More often than not 3 years or so is the standard. The Dark Knight Trilogy was 3 and 4 year waits and no one lost their minds
You’re also ignoring that tv shows and movie productions are very different and using only movies as an example is not a strong argument at all. Since you went to movies, I used a recent one as an example of why you’re wrong. People bitch about delays all the time.
