I love the one-two punch of that poster acting like this was operating on some higher level than “Lost” and then breaking out a “call a wambulance.” The art of posting!
Oh, I don’t doubt that. But I haven’t listened to the radio since 2005. So, I only heard the one song on the show and it was used highly effectively.
Our alt-rock radio station (RIP) here was on it last legs and was playing it all the time, even up to the station’s death this year. Love the song, but it was super overplayed.
I posted this in this thread at the time, but a really cool experience I had that summer was at the beach on our vacation, some young teens were riding their bikes by us walking up the street one day and the one boy had Running Up That Hill blasting from his Bluetooth speaker on his bike. Thought that was cool to see the youngs embrace it
Is it odd to be hyped for the marketing and merchandise? One of my favorite things the past couple seasons was the product placement. New Coke coming back for S3, for example.
Am I seeing people say two hour episodes and splitting the season in half again? My fuck—and I thought they couldn’t drag this out any more than they already have
The splitting the season just allows us to see new episodes earlier than if they did it all at once. That’s a positive to me. Also, so many people bitch and moan about full season drops, this at least spreads it out a little.
On the plus side, 2 hour episodes will allow us to spend even more time with characters we all know and love, like Dustin’s quirky girlfriend
