They need to film the final season like, next month; by 2024 these kids will be like 7 feet tall at the rate they're growing

 

I believe this is the exact reason they gave for the time jump.

 

yeah the time jump only makes sense to make the aging kids not seem as crazy lol

 

It's funny when you look at the kids and then remember that s1 is November 1983 and s4 is March 1986. It's been 2.5 years in show time lol.

 

I've lost count of how many times I've watched this scene already. Coolest part of the show

 

They haven’t even started writing it yet and it’s July 2022. Of course it’s coming out 2024 lol

 

My hope is that they start filming by October, wrap up filming within a year, and if they do post-production & editing simultaneously, hopefully they can finish Part 1 by December 2023, so we can get a March 2024 release.

I have no idea how long film-making takes, so I'm sure it will take much longer, but this would be ideal.

 

They were lucky the kids still look somewhat young in 4, considering how long they had to delay shooting because of COVID.

Pretty accurate. I'd be mildly shocked if Murray didn't sacrifice himself somehow next season though lol

 

Something about S5... Did Eleven reviving Max hold off the Upside Down from opening any further? I wonder if that's how they manage to get away with more time elapsing between this season and the last, even if more of the Upside Down is invading Hawkins. Maybe the government quarantines the town and they're all stuck there?

 

The hate for some of the lesser character’s like Erica and Dustin’s GF is weird.

 

Seriously!

Suzie was barely featured and is harmless. Personally, Erica is a highlight and I want more of her next season.

 

you could convince me it takes them less than a week to write these plotlines

 

Erica is annoying but I genuinely forgot Suzie was in the season at all

 

Erica is great.

 

Erica's a top 5 character IMO
