It'd be wild if they reveal the big bad really is Satan

 

Yeah definitely seems like it’s the only direction a final season could go. It’d make sense to think Henry/One/Vecna is behind everything and that he fashioned the Mind Flayer in the image of a spider, but I can also see the reveal being that the Mind Flayer has been using Henry’s “sensitivity” to manipulate him from the start and that Hawkins is essentially a Hellmouth.

 

Aside from looking cool as hell with Kate Bush as the soundtrack to it, it kinda spoke to me as a metaphor for battling depression as well. Just felt like a really powerful scene to me.

 

Yeah it'd make more sense that Vecna was manipulated by a monster in the upside down, One is a human character so he will have a chance at redemption in a way that a giant spider monster really can't. And we're going to find out that memories that are a little sad but kind of angry are less powerful than memories that are a little sad but kind of happy. Love will be the answer in the form of a montage as 11 screams with her hand in the air and obliterates a whole dimension.

 

If another season ends with Millie Bobbie Brown holding her hand out towards the bad guy and screaming I'm gonna lose it

 

Hahahahaha

Want a tough plot problem solved? Just have Millie stick her hand out and scream

My wife and I settled on See You On The Other Side by Brian Fallon. Figure if the wedding song doesn't get it done, Vecna's unbeatable lol

This is a good one too.

It really would depend on the era of my life for me I guess. I had a very conservative evangelical upbringing that I’ve long since walked away from, but some of those songs from my childhood that I absolutely loved in that former life still hit me in a way (though for different reasons now). My teen years landed squarely on Further Seems Forever being my favorite band because they were also a gateway band into “secular” music, so it might be something from FSF (How to Start a Fire was the first album I listened to from them). In college though I discovered Justin Vernon and began leaning heavily into the indie folk/rock scene and Bon Iver, Bon Iver became one of my all time favorite albums. Re: Stacks was the first song I heard and fell in love with so maybe that one?
