I didn't realize the first 7 episodes are streaming right away, and then they're holding the final 2 until July? Has that been known or is that new info. First I'm hearing it.

man I forgot how shitty Mike is for a lot of s2 + 3 lol. its like him and Steve swap personalities

 

ive been doing a rewatch and forgot how crappy Mike treats Max for like half of it.

 

Max gets a pretty fucking rough time of it in s2 and it's so unnecessary lol. goes from getting verbally abused by Billy to Mike and El both treating her like shit for no reason. and there's no like... payoff, no Mike apologising and accepting her into the party. they just never address it and it kinda sucks

 

Max is cooler than Mike anyways. I’m glad she’s getting more spotlight this season

 

yeah Max and Will are my favourite characters. pretty excited that they both seem to have some hefty stuff this season

 

Mike is pretty firmly my least favorite character lol

 

Max and Steve are easily my favorite characters. Robin is a close 3rd favorite

 

Max, Steve, Robin, Dustin, and Nancy are my top 5

probably something like Max, Will, Dustin, Robin and Joyce for me (no Joyce love on this page! wild). Hopper was on there before they flanderised him to hell and Robin stole his spot, lmao

really though every character offers something interesting and unique that's valuable to the show... and then there's Jonathan, who exists

 

Y’all are way too hard on Mike. Dude basically fell in young love and then watched her sacrifice herself and disappear. 12/13 year olds aren’t exactly great at handling that. I don’t blame him at all for being angsty af, and for not liking Max initially because of feeling like she’s replacing El and then because she was taking away the attention of two of his best friends. It’s basically the reverse of how Lucas was acting towards him in Season 1 when he was getting caught up in his feelings for El.

Season 3 he was just a shithead teenaged boyfriend who had no clue how to be a boyfriend lol. I didn’t hate him for it.

 

I’m not a fan of Mike or Will past season 1. Both of them whine way too much when something doesn’t go their way.

 

I also think Finn Wolfhard is a terrible actor so that doesn't help Mike's case.

 

Mike sucks and Finn Wolfhard annoys me

 

They gave him terrible hair

 

Steve and Robin are honestly the only two characters I care about at this point
