truly wild if true, skipping an episode of TV on your first watch through probably because some nerds online said it sucks
I dunno. I mean, it’s only one episode so they’re truly aren’t missing much of anything in this case. But at the same time, it’s only one episode, just watch it. I fall on the just watch it side. but I feel like I see people telling new viewers to avoid certain episode and arcs with other shows and nobody sees it as a big deal. Take Clone Wars for example. People make lists on what’s essential or good of them. I don’t see the big deal in either side. But as a person who has the need to complete everything, I watch it all. The good and the bad.
s2 is definitely messy overall but I actually really like it for letting us see the characters healing from stuff that happened in s1 and broaching the idea of post traumatic stress. it probably has more outright emotional whoppers than the other two seasons do, like Eleven seeing what happened to her mother is another gutpuncher man the Jonathan/Nancy subplot is a snoozer though lol. I like both characters fine but they consistently get the most boring plots in every season
I didn’t skip it cause people online said to. I skipped it cause I got 5 minutes in and had no desire to finish it
so you had to have read you didn’t “need” to watch it, how would you know 5 minutes in you could skip it?
Well I knew in the next episode when it picked up right where the last episode I actually watched left off without missing a beat
It's tough to get people to watch clone wars because it's so long, they need to watch it out of order for it to make sense, and it takes awhile to get good. Giving people that are on the fence a few arcs to sell them on it makes sense to me. That has nothing to do with this show but wanted to chime in on that lol.
2-7 is better knowing it doesn’t come back. I don’t mind them exploring different influences and vibes at all, but with the arguable lameness of those characters I remember being pretty worried at the time it was the jump the shark moment. so this is 7 episodes next week and 2 in July? Interesting, don’t hate it
I feel like they're going to lose a lot of their audience who have children or multiple jobs if half the season are going to basically be movies haha
Possibly. But I think the split will help with that. It’s roughly like 8-9 hours and then 4 hours later on.
Good point! To be fair, I'm definitely still watching it, but my ADHD isn't looking forward to the lengths
